what's mine is yours
For a long time, I believed there was only one way to build something meaningful. I was told over and over again that I was trying to do too much at once. That I needed to pick one thing, find a niche, and stick to it.
The thing is, every time I tried to fit myself into one lane, I found myself leaving behind projects that transformed from passion into labor. Social media and influencer culture left me feeling overwhelmed and turned off. Everything around us is always demanding more. More content, more products, more consistency, more optimization. I found myself longing for something slower, simpler, more human.
I decided to stop asking myself how I could fit into the rules everyone else was following. What if I just made my own?
What if I created a place where I could follow my curiosity wherever it led? A place for the things I make, the things I find, the stories I want to tell, the art I can't stop thinking about, and whatever else finds its way into my heart. A place that could grow and evolve alongside me. Not a perfectly curated brand or an endless stream of algorithmic content. Just a home for things worth passing along.
If the internet once felt like wandering into someone's favorite little corner of the world, I hope this feels a lot like that. I hope this feels like coming over to a friend's house for dinner. Think old-school blogs, long conversations, your 90's mom cooking barefoot in the kitchen. Music in the room, coffee on the porch, wine on the couch.
I'm inspired by the past, but I don't want to cling to it. I want to remember the things we've forgotten and bring them along with us into the future.
So come on in. Pull up a chair. Stay awhile. And take what you need home with you.
My door is always open.
